What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with engineers to design and implement solar PV systems, ensuring technical feasibility, system optimization, compliance with industry standards, and integration with existing infrastructure.
• Conduct system analyses and financial modeling to support the development of accurate solar savings estimates, ROI assessments, and lifecycle cost analyses tailored to each client’s energy profile.
• Engage with commercial and sectional title clients by conducting detailed site assessments, gathering technical data, and participating in design meetings to ensure project alignment with client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation and project handovers, including system specifications, wiring diagrams, equipment schedules, and O&M manuals to ensure seamless internal coordination and client satisfaction.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including project managers, procurement, and operations to support effective execution, mitigate risks, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory developments, and technological advancements in solar, backup power, and energy storage systems to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge and compliant.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• BEng, BSc, or BTech qualification in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.

Experience and Skills:

• Strong technical understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, and energy storage solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commercial acumen with negotiation and project management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Problem-solving mindset with a solutions-oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits.

Specific Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
• Clear credit, criminal, and health records.
• Solid, verifiable written references.

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday | 08:00 – 17:00
Flexi-time available between 07:00 and 18:00 with manager approval.
